March would be dedicated to THE Japanese culture at Masa-UK Art Gallery.

To justify our nickname “hidden treasure of Bury” we are bringing another gem artist in Tomomi Kitzawa (Tomo).

Alongside with a spiritual thought provoking sculptures by Tomo we are happy to present our local unrivalled talented lady Lynne Miller from Whitefield and her embroidery - Japanese stitching art like Geishas and many other teams .

Tomomi Kitzawa (Tomo) is a Japanese artist, living and working in the Northwest of England. After finishing her BA Fine Arts at the Department of Ceramics studies in Kanagwa Japan, she went on to complete her Masters at the University of Craft and Design in Budapest, Hungary.

Her sculptures are mostly created by the feelings she is experiencing at that particular moment. However, the inspiration behind her work comes from the “Ruten” a Buddhism word which means “continual change”. "Ruten" means in…
